Giuseppe Coppola, in arte Joey, inizia a studiare privatamente all' età di 13 anni con il M° Simone Gallo (affiliato dell' accademia "La casa del Batterista" ). E' laureato in Batteria Pop/Rock al Conservatorio di Musica di Salerno "G. Martucci" con il M° Sergio Di Natale (batterista Rai, Joe Barbieri, ecc..) Nel corso degli anni ha maturato numerose esperienze con gruppi locali, orchestre di musica leggera, e lavorando come turnista con artisti affermati quali: Roberto Tiranti (New Trolls, Labirynth, Vanexa), Giuseppe Cionfoli, Santino Rocchetti, Stefano Sani ,Peppe O' Blues. Prosegue gli Studi con il M°Francesco Corvino ( batterista per Umberto Tozzi - Mina - Anna Oxa - Povia - Irene Grandi - Marco Masini..) Dal 2015 è membro della band heavy metal Circle Of Witches, con la quale ha registrato l'album full-lenght "Natural Born Sinner". Con la stessa formazione ha preso parte a diversi tour europei, condividendo il palco con artisti come U.D.O. Doro, Dark Tranquillity e molti altri. Lavora inoltre come drum tech per Dave Weckl e Aquiles Priester in occasione delle loro clinics italiane. Dal 2017 è il batterista della band Folk/Pop "Vico Masuccio. Dal 2018 è il batterista della cantante Luna Palumbo. Dal 2019 è batterista e co-fondatore della band fusion/jazz "The Licks", con la quale ha registrato un EP. Attualmente ha all'attivo molte live sessions, 4 full-Lenght e molti singoli registrati con varie bands/artisti.

Di recente è il batterista della Martucci Pop Ensamble diretta dal Maestro Rocco Petruzzi (tastierista, arrangiatore di Mango)

Dal 2020 è orgoglioso di essere Endorser per la Facus Drum Innovation.

Joey Coppola starts his journey into drums at the age of 13 with his first teacher Simone Gallo. He is graduate in Pop/Rock Drums from Salerno State Conservatoire with Sergio Di Natale. During the last few years he had numerous experiences with local bands, pop orchestras and major artists such as Roberto Tiranti (New Trolls, Labirynth, Vanexa), Giuseppe Cionfoli, Santino Rocchetti, Stefano Sani, Peppe O' Blues.He continued his studies with Maestro Francesco Corvino (drummer for Umberto Tozzi - Mina - Anna Oxa - Povia - Irene Grandi - Marco Masini ..) In 2015 he joined the heavy metal band Circle Of Witches, with which he recorded the full-lenght album "Natural Born Sinner". With the same band he took a part in several European tours, sharing the stage with artists such as U.D.O. Doro, Dark Tranquillity and many others.
